and solely operates in the UK.

CI Photography is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and complying with the
principles of applicable data protection laws. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any
personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
During a job or contract the company may require personal data about you such as name, address,
phone number, email. This information is solely collected for contractual or legal purposes or to
ensure the correct completion of the job or contract being requested. Whilst using our website,
software applications or services, you may be required to provide personal information (name,
address, email, account details, etc.). We will use this information to administer our website,
applications, client databases and marketing material. We will ensure that all personal information
supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679,
as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018.
THE INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE VOLUNTARILY TO US
In order to process orders, we will need to collect delivery information (such as delivery address,
contact person, contact telephone number, email etc.), as well as payment information. We use a
payment services provider, PayPal and Stripe. Further, by providing telephone and email details,
you consent to CI Photography contacting you using that method. You have the right at any time to
request a copy of the personal information we hold on you. Should you wish to receive a copy of
this, or would like to be removed from our database, please contact us at

OUR USE OF THE INFORMATION
The company may communicate with you regarding the completion of a specific job, order or other
request but will not use your information for marketing purposes once a job has been completed.
All data with Photobox is held on their website/servers but they have no access to this unless
permission is granted by the company and it is not used for any purpose other than to complete an
order or job. The company does not sell your data.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We retain different customer information for differing amounts of time after the completion of any
job unless the information is required to be kept for longer due to statutory or regulatory
requirements.
We keep it as below-
Your photos and order data are stored for 10 years.
Emails are deleted after 6 months.
We Transfer transfers are deleted after 7 days.
PROTECTING IMAGES
The nature of the business is photography. Photographs taken are solely for the purpose of selling
back to the customer and images are not sold on to third parties. Where images are used for
website, social media, advertising or marketing then prior written permission from the customer
will be sought first. Images are stored on a password protected back up drive and kept for up to 10
years to allow customers to re order. Photographs can be deleted earlier than this if requested by
the customer. Images are not tagged by name or any other personal details unless specifically
required to do so and they will then be password protected. Any device containing such images is
password protected.
All Images are owned by CI Photography.
THIRD PARTIES WE OPERATE WITH
Paypal and Stripe are providers for online payments. Photobox is a printing company who handle
printing and distribution of orders. We Transfer is the transfer service that we would use for large
files.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may contact the company at any time on info@ciphotography.co.uk to unsubscribe from
communications, anonyms information or request copies of or changes to your personal
information
We understand that you trust us with your personal information and we are committed to ensuring
you can manage the privacy and security of your personal information yourself.
With respect to the information relating to you that ends up in our possession, and recognising that
it is your choice to provide us with your personally identifiable information, we commit to giving
you the ability to do all of the following:
You can verify the details you have submitted to CI Photography by contacting us. Our
security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal
information, including but not solely- your e-mail address and possibly your address.
Photographs can be deleted earlier than the retention period ,if requested by the customer.
All photos will be deleted from the live computer but may still be present on backups. If a
full back up is needed- we will do our best to erase the images again.
You can also contact us by the same method to change, correct, or delete your personal
information controlled by CI Photography regarding your profile at any time. Please note
though that, if you have shared any information with others through social media channels,
that information may remain visible, even if your account is deleted.

You can request a readable copy of the personal data we hold on you at any time. To do
